  • Archipelago

This is a real gem and an undiscovered hot spot. It has some great touches like giving you a password when you book which you must give on arrival to your table. The decor is eclectic to say the least, pan-asian/african/mystic is one way, but great for romantic ambience. Menus come in bamboo tubes, and cocktails are original and tasty and fine for the first booze hit for the lady. The menu is unique and scrumptios, with food like peacock, aligator and zebra on it all served in individual methods.

As this is so different to your typical romantic restauraunts, she feels as though you've really searched hard for somewhere so unique for just you and her. It can be a touch pricey (£140 for 2) but the willywetness factor is strong in this one.

  • Tate

The Tate modern members bar. (need to borrow a membership card +1)

Good niche spot to take someone.
Open till 9:30 on fri/sat. Good for some drinks pre dinner/after work in the sun as has a terrace over looking the river and St Pauls.

Definitely has some quimagefactorgeneral and is relatively cultured place to lube up inexpensively.
